Hell, I already knew that trick!
We call it the "roll, grunt, and flop" I have become quite an expert at that trickly maneuver. The secret is to hunt with strong, young, guys and gals, the stronger the better.
Yea, if you can find them that's great, but I have to get over by a log....climb up on it and then jump in the boat......
With the straight sides on the Edge, you can get the boat closer to said log, that way you don't have to jump so far
True dat....but, I'll get in the boat somehow.....they ain't leaving me out there....
That's why I like to take my boat, I usually have the truck keys, they CAN'T leave me
2 guys, full load, stock 2 cylinder 25 yamaha, crappy prop...28 mph. shines in the corners and through the thick stuff for me. no complaints from this owner
Please define crappy prop. Me and a buddy ran 27.2 in his 1548 WE with the same motor. Took a lol bit to get on plane, but it tan 27.2
No tilt trim.
hell m.g. they rolled a prototype after your ol' rig, instead of having a boat that would roll up in the front,,,they pre-rolled for ya!!
2 blades bent and all nicked up solas. no tilt trim. gets on plane quick. get you better numbers with new prop this week
