I had two welds break with my ejector system on my 1187 and would like to have it looked at.

Check with Clydes Sports Shop in Baltimore

I assume your having problems with the ejector tab on your barrel sleeve that fits in the receiver? if the repair welds are breaking might consider buying another "tab". They are really a rivet pressure fitted in the barrel sleeve. You can buy these on Ebay or www.brownells.com. If ejector tab keeps breaking you need a another barrel.

I did, another one just like it just 20 years newer.
There was a whole lot of birds dropping on the right side Monday till it broke, it can hold it's own.

Remington used to make a nice gun. Even the 870 isn't what it used to be. I had an 1187 and it spent more time back in NY getting fixed than in my boat killing s****. I finally sold it to a guy with full disclosure of the problems I had with it. Junk!

I had the same problem. I sent it back to the factory and they fixed it for free
