I love the rain (he says right now) ... we just went 64 days without any precip ... I grew up in MI where it was lush and green and there were lakes (I grew up 50 yards from one) ... the decades in Colorado have gotten to me ... I have to drive miles and miles to find a puddle with some ducks in it. I literally fly to upstate NY to get water fixes. Really looking forward to the change.

BTW, what do you recommend for rain suits?

For Ducks, of course you know, I use chest waders, or hip wader's takes care of most, I use layers of clothes, I use Frog Togg Max 5 camo top with hood. Frog Togg is about $60.00^ for top and bottom.

Fishing I use a Columbia Sports, Top and Bottom "Black" over $100.00 though, wore it hunting also.

Good info Widgeonmangh! Need to always watch out for tides, mud, waves, wind ... I have seen people with very small boats at Skagit (same kind of hunting as Nisqually) and you need to be very careful not to get in trouble.
