Ok so I know how this usually ends up but I am hoping it doesn't. I'm deciding whether or not to make a trip down to the Cache river area and visit a friend working down there. I have been searching some guides and/or leases, is it possible that someone would PM me and let me bounce some places I've been looking into and give me advice. I haven't made up my mind to head down because I'm also expecting our first big push of Canadian Geese around the same time.
Thanks in advance for anyone's help!!!!....I'd also be willing to trade a goose hunt in northern Illinois for a duck hunt down there.

"Cache River area" covers a pretty wide swath. Bounce away, and I'll answer if I know the guide/place. Most of the guys here are happy to help, but generally the only reason they might know a particular guide would be due to living or hunting next to him. The exceptions to that are on the extreme ends of the scale.

Day leases are garbage. dont waste your money.

oh, and any guide not booked up by now is probably garbage too. Search this forum to get a list of good outfitters and call them to see if they have had any cancellations.

I was trying to not drop names on here but how about these places...Greene County Duck Hunts...Bayou Bottoms....and a guy named Andrew Mack. Please Pm me I'm not wanting to start a bashing thread. All have had cancellations.

I'm not bashing you just be careful. It's just hard to get accurate information on the interwebs when it comes to killing a duck.

I wouldn't trust any interweb intel when it comes to duck killing, just saying. Not my style, anyway.
