Normally I will run a disk around my blinds before we flood to create some open water for the birds to see. This year Hurricane Harvey filled our wetlands up completely before I could disk. If I sprayed the area with a herbicide like Habitat would that open some water up? Not sure if it's effective when water is standing on the grass.

I don't think it will kill under the water. I like Reward but it will kill everything in the water and below the surface as long as you apply it with a pump to get it under

The top of the vegetation is above water. I'm looking to knock the grass down to create landing zones. Would this work?

From a cost stand point you are just as well off using aquatically labeled Roundup.
