I got a 6pk of widgeon drakes from Higdon when I bought all of my other dekes 3 seasons ago and they still look good.

Mine are not FF. I have a few dekes that are but to me I prefer the non filled. The filled are heavier. Since I don't shoot my decoys I don't need the foam filling.

IMO the GHG pro series look better but the resters don't always self right when thrown. They started showing some wear in the 4th season with them but I abuse decoys, shoot them, bulk bag, throw them in the bottom of my boat ect..

I had the GHG ones several years ago and had paint issues, but I understand they have improved that quite a bit. I don't have Hidgon widgeon dekes, but I have some of their mallards and seem to be pretty durable.

I like the looks of my Avian-x ones, but I've only used them 1 year so far.

Tho I don't have Higdon WIGEON decoys, I've got plenty of others & they make very durable decoys.
For wigeons, I have had GHG pros, for years & added more recently, along with Avians. Together, they look great & offer a diverse look.

Never used Higdon; most of their species and positions don't look like real ducks. I have a bunch of GHG Pro Grades and have no complaints. Yes, the GHG decoys of fifteen years ago (Hot Buys)had paint issues. Have had zero issues with the Pro Grades.

I've got a dozen GHG wigeon pro's. I bought them used on the interwebs somewhere.

I've had them 2 or 3 seasons now. They get banged around and look really good. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again.
