I'm flying to Denver with my 22-year-old to do some hiking over the four-day weekend. I'm planning on hitting Golden Gate Canyon State park first.

Any suggestion for GGCSP or any other good spots near by. We are staying in Denver since we couldn't get a cabin/yurt at GGCSP.

Any thoughts, tips or suggestions would be welcomed.

    Thanks.

Just south of where you will be is Red Rocks (south of I-70), several trails in that area also. Also trails on Green Mountain (south of I-70 and east of 470) with good views of Denver.
