Looking for recommendations for a hitch hauler for my yukon. Not sure if i want a folding model or not, it would mainly be used to haul my portable fish house in the winter and occasionally coolers and rubbermaid totes in the fall and spring for hunting. looking at the 60"x24" models from dee zee, american made, look to be sufficiently welded. Any recommendations or brands to stay away from?

I just got one from Harbor Freight that seems to be pretty stout for only $60.

Find someone good with metal and have them make you one. I had the manager at our hunting club make me one for $125. So much stronger and better built than the "retail" units. I can jump up and down on it with no issues and I'm 260. Unit probably is a good heavier than the others.

Went with a Curt Mfg. Model 18133.
Got it on a sale for $130 shipped. Used it this weekend hauling my ice shack around and it works as advertised.

I bought a basic black angle bracket unit (20x60")on Craigslist for $50. I am modifying it as need be for the mission. Post your fabricated hauler and cost when done.
