Homemade Blind

    stevena, the CPVC tends to get brittle, especially on hot water lines, after approximately 10 years (or so I've been told and have experienced in my house). Yes, they do need some straps to keep them from rattling around, but I'd suggest to not tightening them to much as you want to leave a little room for flexing/expansion.

    To the OP, I can't help much with a blind as I don't normally use one, except for the one on the boat. If the weather is nasty, I tend to use a camo umbrella and cover it with natural vegetation or a camo tarp between two trees with vegetation on top, etc.
