Honey Brake

    I hear they started killing ducks today at Honey Brake. I wish I could afford to go on a hunt there. Maybe with the new tax break I will be able to borrow enough money to go one day.

    $975 per day......they probably have ducks this yr but that's insanity.

    Why do you think one flooded field has lots of birds, so many that people with the money are willing to pay $1000 to hunt and a field 10 miles or less away have no birds?

    Yes and Larry Reynolds calls it Normal Agricultural Practice. I was always taught that normal ag practice was a 3 step process. Cultivate Plant Harvest. Seems one is missing. Don't get me wrong if I was blessed to have the resources I would join the party. Got the bucks you get the ducks.

    That's pretty much it in a nutshell. Making "THE X" takes management, which takes $$$$$$.

    guys there just aren't the ducks there used to be despite what larry says.
