From what I've seen on social media, it looks like a lot of guides/outfitters are having some big shoots. Is that because it's a special year or because the C.O. season just started there? Who knows. But so far, it looks like Arkansas has been producing some very big shoots. Reports all winter have been about the record juvy hatch, and so far, that looks to be holding true.

Look at the weather. If it's going to be sunny and warm you'll have a good trip. If it's going to be cloudy and cold expect to struggle. On the bright side the bad days down there so far have been 10-15 bird days instead of 3-4 so take it for what it's worth.

Depends where you go. Some areas are barren rice fields, some are loaded. Changes about every 3 days or so.

We were in Stuttgart last week... no birds really Everyone was killing up around Jonesboro Local guides said all the snow they got end of January pushed a lot of birds back to LA We got 1 good shoot 1st day then spent next 1.5 days driving/scouting and never found another feed worth while! pulled out
