Just curious, how many days do most of us get out and hunt waterfowl?
30-40....i hunt almost everyday during 3rd split
I hunt about 30 a year. Wish I could double that.
Before or after kids? This year was by far the least amount of hunting and killing. BUT I wouldn't change it for the world. Little man pulled the trigger on the 12ga this morning for the first time.
Between life and work, make it out 10-12 days a season.
I would guess I hunt ducks and geese 3 to 4 days a week on average . So that puts me right around 60 + days give or take . I like to work night shift during waterfowl season at my job . I'm young / no kids and can pull it off , I don't get much sleep during waterfowl season but I wouldn't have it any other way. I'll sleep when I'm dead .
I am at 29 trips this year and might get out next weekend to make it an even 30. Then comes the dark times; no duck hunting for 6.5 months
A week in Nodak, probably 30 of our 60 day duck season, 30 or so goose hunts and now snow goose season for 2 months. Maybe 90 to 100 days.
40-70 times depending on the year
