How many of our duck hunters hunt rivers?

    Besides a few lakes and swamps when the weather is right all I hunt is rivers!

    I hunt the elk river and the flats here in MD
    All big water

    Up in Washington all the time - Columbia, Snake Yakima - in Texas almost never ponds, lakes and creeks

    99.9% of our group's hunting is done in some type of river.

    Once the wetlands freeze or in dry years when wetlands are dry and the river is low exposing lots of islands and gravel bars.

    I hunt the Merrimack River and several other smaller rivers here in NH...what do you have cooking always looking for something to gain a advantage or ease of a decoy rig.
