I have been on here for a bit, all of you sound like great people. Hopefully I can build a relationship with some of you.
"I hate Hunting alone" would enjoy meeting other Veterans.
I spent some time in the Army '81-84' then Army Reserves '84-'87, got out after a tour at Ft. Carson, Mannheim, Germany, Council Bluff, IA. Went back in '93-'11 Retired with 20 years. I was a Heavy Vehicle Operator 88M. Did another tour in Germany, Kaiserslautern, Fort Lewis, Fort Polk, 3 years in Iraq. My best duty was in '99 got to be a escort for WWII vets at Normandy Beach, 55th Anniversary of D Day.

Are any of you also Veterans?

Was in the canoe club 66-68. Was on the Constellation CVA-64, Yankee station, in a VAW squadron.

US Army. 65-68. 2 1/2 years of that was in 7th Army - Germany .. mainly in the Stuttgart area. Man I feel old-that was a long time ago. Never made it to SE Asia like most of my buddies in that era.

I only missed SE Asia because the US still had a NATO commitment and Uncle Sam sent a trickle of new troops to Europe along with some SE Asia vets that stayed in after a year in the war. We were terribly understaffed but no one was shooting at us in Europe so I guess I was lucky......except when I think of my buddies that did get their asses shot off over there.

Anyway, I’m pretty much a casual duck hunter now so won’t be of any help to your quest for hunting partners
