    Thank you for your long service. With your DAV status, Bronze star, and retiring after 20 years of service you have my appreciation. My stint in the Navy was just a "cup of coffee" compared to your length of service........Thanks again

    Thanks so much Gibby, it's not too often I hear that.
    In my first post I mentioned that I am tired of hunting alone. Hoping to meet some of you guy's and duck hunt next season.
    I got a retired Army friend I hunt with like twice a season, he lost most of his right leg to an IED ten years ago.

    Like I mentioned above my military experience was peacable compared to that of most of my generation and for sure the current vets that are coming out of the current world mess we are involved in.......I can’t even imagine the things that true veterans of conflict experience and my hat goes off to them that truely served our country in war zones. Thanks to you all!

    74 to 96 US Army. 347th Trans Hawaii, 3/5th Cav Ft Lewis, 92nd Trans Everwett. Finished at JBlam with whatever they named it 6/158th I believe.

    Check out Fallen Outdoors. Good group for Vets. Know a couple of guys that are in it.. Great resource and way to meet hunters for those that have served.
