Fox, (I know, I know), is reporting that the FBI is refusing a request under the Freedom of Information Act to release FBI records from their investigation not Hillary's email citing lack on public interest......you interested?

I am. That excuse doesn't hold water... Obviously SOMEONE is interested, otherwise there wouldn't have been a FOIA request filed. While it may be true, I never knew "overwhelming public interest" was a make-or-break on FOIA requests.

It doesn't matter what us peasants want. Forces higher than POTUS are making the decisions to protect the Clintons and their underlings.

Personally I'd like to see Hillary, Comey, Obama and Loretta Lynch sharing a jail cell together.

I'm thinking compliance is up to a judge, not the FBI?

Does the FBI have a new charter? I always understood that the "I" stood for "Investigation" rather than "Interpretation ".

The general public have little interest as the attention span is short. Those of us who care about the country want corruption and such exposed so that it is less likely to occur in the future!

The Clinton's are still too powerful for that to happen. Just because politicians get dethroned doesn't mean their political machine does.

They know who the crooks are on both sides and the willingness to grease the bus undercarriage with them is pure politics.

Even deposed politicians carry a lot of power.

The FBI is not that stupid. They can't reject an FOI request simply because they think not enough people care. They can however, reject a request, if they believe privacy or security outweighs the public's need to know (i.e., ... "the public's interest")?

ETA: Whether that will hold up in court is another question.

For sure not stupid. What ever action the FBI takes is based upon motivation and direction. Whether and how much the motivation and direction is perverted is the driving force.
