Pretty sure the link was "giving credit." Also fairly certain that if his intent was to pass it off as his "own thoughts," he would not have included a link to the article that he was attempting to plagiarize...
    So did Chuam.

Not everyone opens every link. Learned in 3rd grade to credit sources and use quotation marks. Someone else did the work, is it that hard to give them credit?

It's a hunting forum not a cited paper.

I figured the quotation from Jesse Salsberry @ BHA made it even more obvious......

Is it really that hard to give the person who did all the work credit?

Is it really that important on a blog? It isn't like he is getting paid, or submitting it for a grade.

You've made your point well known. Put a sock in it and move on already.

..and way to distract from the real issue; saving land your whiney butt can tromp around on.

It's not like I took some obscure piece of the article and tried to pass it off. It's the first two paragraphs. It's like a short snippet of the article so you would get an idea of what the article was about. That's pretty common around here when posting articles.

But hey, if that's what get your panties in a bunch keep up with the outrage.

@chuam; selective outrage is all the hype right now. Just ask Hillary, if you can find her.

The left is outraged over possible ties to Russia. The left is not outraged that Hillary had an unsecured server with classified info on it.

The left is outraged that Trump said something nasty he could do to a woman's *****. The left thought Bill Clinton was cool for using a woman's ***** as a humidor.

    See now? Selective outrage.

Apparently it is so important that some folks "lose interest" in the content if it is not done to their satisfaction. Maybe there needs to be a "Works Cited" tab on all the members' profiles so that we can properly cite our sources. I mean, looking up the source via someone's bibliography is way more convenient than just clicking on a link. We will have to decide which format to use though... MLA? APA? Chicago/Turabian? Maybe a poll is order? I'd hate for someone to "lose interest" (Allan, post #3, 3/18/17) just because the format wasn't to their liking...
