I know the rut is almost here seen alot of dead deer on the side of the road and had a Buck come in on a string with estrous Monday night but had my smoke pole and already tagged a Buck but thinking of going tonight with the rain and wind. it's not steady for the rain but it's still blowing a steady 10 mph wind I'm thinking go for it

Our rut is full swing...I saw a nice buck today cruising a wide open field, and it was blowing 15-20 and raining, 70 degrees... two of the biggest bucks I've seen were chasing does in a 30+ mph sheer wind before a tropical storm.. I think high winds makes them nervous with all the commotion in the woods and puts them on their feet.... wouldn't think twice about 10 mph, go for it.
