Hybrid Blanks can be kinda cool

    That is pretty cool! How durable is the "weld" between the (stabilized?) wood and the acrylic?

    Yes the woods are stabilized before they are cast. This has been only the third hybrid blank I have turned but it seems to have a good bond between the two materials. No issues while working it at all.

    Personally not a fan of the hybrid blanks. That's one of the better ones I've seen though!
