Early teal opener was this past weekend and I cooked up some teal tonight for dinner. Cooked em up in the skillet with butter to 130 degrees. Seasoned with salt and pepper.

Ate the first one and it was so good. Started in on the next and all of a sudden I just couldn't stomach it anymore. Couldn't take another bite. It is not because I don't like the taste, but for some reason I just can't eat duck. Maybe I need to find a different way to cook them but it seems anymore the only way I can eat duck is when it is roasted.

Im sure this has been discussed before, but I need a quick and easy way to prepare duck that I can actually eat.

Wrap in bacon, grill until the bacon is done. Bone appetite.

Worst case you can chunk the duck and eat the bacon...

    I'll add to this^^^

I marinade in Dales or Moores and Italian dressing for a few hours before grilling. If the meat is done on the inside, you cooked it too long. As TCC said, throw it to the dog and eat the bacon.

To be honest, Im not sure. Im sure this seems vague, but it's one of those foods that I feel sick eating. Ever get sick after eating something, and then you cant eat it anymore? The taste is fine, I actually like it. Im bad at describing this, but after eating the first one I just couldn't stomach anymore.

I'm a fairly picky eater but can't recall having that issue.

Maybe it's too rich of a meat for eating by its self, for your tastes. Adding rice and/or vegetables could make it more pallatable for you.
