Idaho hunters learn Texas billionaires are locking them out at the last minute

    This is the sale of private land and it is changing dramatically how the land was used before and the access it provided to public land. Is this what we can expect if we see the sale of our public lands here in Idaho?

    If this isn't a foreshadowing, I don't know what is...

    Most timberland owners take advantage of tax break in part which allows hunting on timber company lands.

    give it time either they will lease to hunters or whine to the Fand G as soon as there are problems

    Hmmm....timber companies around Boise lock the gate, throw away the key, and then get tommy two toes to patrol it lol. I am just sour because I got locked out of some pretty good elk hunting 25 years ago by a timber company and they have never opened it back up.
