Ducks would be cool...things like Chiloe Wigeon, the teal and pintails and shovelers, pochards, etc. that I've never seen outside of zoos. That plus chasing perdiz in the afternoon over pointers would be the nuts.

But if I'm going, I think a dove trip first. I'd like to see a million doves or more over a three-day period and shoot until I just...can't. Most of the time I try to be decent, but just once I'd like to not even keep count.

If he's talking Argentina, I promise it is NOT more capitalist than the US. No matter how much they scream "democracy", it is still Socialist/Peronista to the core. If they are getting in there, there is some serious money changing hands, I guarantee. Unless things have totally changed since I was there a few years ago. It was a European country that happened to be in South America.

Now, Chile? That is a capitalist place...to quote Blazing Saddles, "And let me tell you, baby...they was open for business..."

Santa Fe has very good duck hunting along the Parana River, good fishing as well. Dove hunting there is better than anything in North America, but it is a step or two down from Cordoba.

Santa Fe province will require an additional flight from BA, unless you want to drive a lot. Flight is $100 - $200 through Aerolineas last time I was there (September).

My house is literally 5 mins from the Jackson Ninjanational Airport and 8 out of 10 times we drive to Memphis or New Orleans. Its insane the prices we pay for air travel out of here only to have a layover in Atlanta.

This is the type of example that Norwegian is looking at when it comes to international flights. While Nashville has more traffic, AA and Delta will agressively wage fare wars if they there in there. Nashville is more in line for a British Airways flight like they added to New Orleans. That is if their code share partner American does't raise objections due to Charlotte fed.

Memphis is out there on an island but within that drive time radius to work.

Memphis has announced a major concourse revamp that'll bidder out in a few months. 2020 could be interesting times.
