    Any chance this passes?

Is this the classic large property owner sticking it to the small guy?

So if you have 2 landowners that are not the best of friends and it is not feasible for each to be 100yds from the property line then nobody can hunt? Am I understanding it correctly?

That's the way I interpret it, too.
My guess is that someone bought a small plot of ground next to one of the so. Illinois duck clubs and the rich owner of the club is trying to prevent the guy with the small plot from utilizing his property.

This came about under the tutelage of Rep. Mike Bost concerning a feud between two club owners in S. Ill. Union County. Terri Bryant is his replacement. I have no idea if she knows anything at all about guns, hunting, duck hunting. One of the club owners has property separate from his main club. He decided to lease the area on a yearly basis. Up until that point in time he was hunting it only 3 or 4 days a week. The area is on a direct flight line to flooded corn on the other club to the north of him. When he started leasing it out the "lessee's" put 2 more pits in as close to the north line as possible. They started hunting it 7 days a week and sunrise to sunset. Shot "AT" a lot of 70-80 yd ducks trying to get to the flooded corn on the other club. Totally screwed the club owner to the north. He therefore put in 2 pits as close ------ and started shooting just to keep the ducks from getting anywhere close. Feud began. On going to this day!!!
