Im considering simply ignoring any future changes to the bag limits.
I have a clean record and alot of grey hair now. I rarely get checked and figure I can get away with producing last years regs and acting embarassed if questioned.
    At least thats my plan.

PS. I fear I am giving up on the Historic Atlantic Flyway

I hope disregarding limits is a disease that most of us are not carrying. Seems too many people want to " get theirs" today, and not worry about tomorrow. I hunt no less than 35 days of our season, and will be happy to hang it up for a couple years if it means preserving our right to hunt and have the next generation carry on our tradition of ethical hunting. This will in fact drive my Wife crazy though....Being home that much!

I know Mr. Skeeter, positive he’s kidding. Well, pretty sure, anyway.

Even if it’s only for an oddball cold spring? Don’t think so

I was wondering where is this information for this bad survey found?i would like to read it.Is this a sure thing that's going to happen.i think shorten the season but leave the two bird limit, alot of work for one bird.

For results Google USFW Waterfowl status for 2018. Table of contents find geese (all species) and look at AP status in canada goose secion. 112,000 breeding pairs. Statistically there is no trend in breeding pairs. Fall flight is projected higher than last year 738,000 bird That is a statement straight from report. However there has been a 5% reduction per year in numbers. But no mention of season reduction or limits. Good luck working with other states or Canada I doubt they are going to be sympathethic.
I have asked biologists before and was told number of days is more important than limit numbers....this was when I lived in the midwest before moving east....so maybe they would accept a 30 day 2 bird limit before being so drastic. Spring will be interesting.
