    I have basically, the fire's still there though, short on time mainly. I did have a great hunt in Arkie though, actually called and decoyed some birds on that hunt which is what I really enjoy.

    Actually we normally do pretty well in the first two weeks of the second split when we have water on the landscape and frontal activity. This year was just different and I will leave it at that.

    I don’t see myself ever just being able to quit. Even if I just make 3 or 4 hunts like this year it’s better than nothing.

    Now I will say I am not crazy about guided hunts, but it’s far more cost effective than leasing if your only able to make a few hunts a year.

    I look at it as leasing a spot for a day. lol I don’t care about the guided part as much as just the access to a better place to hunt.
