    The REAL conversation:

Kurt: Sounds like someone yelling "help."

Humvee: Could it be a cow?

Kurt (with his bionic earmuffs on): Huh?

    Humvee: I said "A cow?"

    Kurt: "What?"

Humvee: I SAID "What about a cow?"

Kurt: Yeah, we should probably go now.

    Humvee: (silence)

So you see, Kurts poor hearing combined with new technology saved the day!

    :l :l :l

Ya Humvee--It's quite a leap from "it's time to leave" to how the gun ended up at the bottom of the lake. Let's hear it.

As with many good duck hunting stories, I think this one can only be told in person, as there are many sound effects, and imitations that make it good. ;)

Besides, I wouldn't want to do Ron any injustice!:dv

Sounds like we need a Refuge hunt for good campfire stories, or at least a mid-week happy hour/dinner (Tilted Kilt?).

Needless to say, due to our life-saving heroics (just to get your curiosity up even more:dv ), actual hunt time was limited, but we did end up with about 9 birds; gadwalls, spoonies, and a green-wing.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones to have heard the story...Humvee is right! This one you have to hear in person. I like the refuge hunt idea or the happy hour. I wouldn't miss that one for anything.

Too funny! And thanks to the hero's of the day! All fun and games aside, I am truely glad someone was around and could hear him.

I'm just happy the spoonies were flying!

I'm thinking about Friday morning divers. A couple boats would be nice...
