The only WMA I know that manages for dove is Grandview near Hope. Welcome to the state if you hunt public it's best to bring your own tree to hide behind.

Opening day in TN starts at noon, so I never even considered that angle. We did try to convince someone we were squirrel hunting once, but I digress. I learned a lot about sales while trying to get into dove hunts where I knew no one.

Couldn't get an invite for a private shoot and the paid shoot down the road was too pricey. Got permission from a farmer in between and pass shot birds trading back and forth.
$100.00 for a dove shoot, for realz? The most I've seen around mid-TN was $50 and that was for 3 days.

I'll try the "under cover game warden" approach, I think I can pull it off Hee hee

A degree in animal production...when you graduated, did they give you a real sheepskin? Did you know her?

A friend of mine had an oddball cousin that was into animal husbandry...until they caught him at it...

I had to buy my own. But I took it upon myself to go above and beyond and I bought the Velcro chaps. Best investment ever!!
