Met my wife at a wedding ( her sister married my cousin, funny thing is I knew her mom and dad and sister for 10-12 years before I met her ) the next morning she left for a week long muskie hunt, when she got back we had our first date, a duck hunt, been hunting, fishing, camping and everything else together for 16 years now, 14 year old daughter is following in her mothers footsteps, 11 year old son is right behind. Family trips are usually fishing trips up north during the summer or hunting in the fall. Just to make you guys a more jealous :D she buys things like guns, dogs, boats hunting gear for presentsand she expects the same in return as she would probably put it, you can't shoot a duck with a diamond get me a shotgun.

My brother made these remarks often. He could meet more nice women with his yellow lab than any guy could ever meet with a sports car. Busy places, parks, trails, Mall parking lots

Take a well mannered friendly dog for a walk. (Not some big ugly rotwillier or 110 pound blockhead lab) If the women wont talk to you then,... well Im sorry,.. but its hopeless then.

Take out an ad in the DU "personals" column? :D

    Cruise hunter safety courses?

Invite female for lovely moonlit candlelight dinner -- in the blind?

Purchase camo lingere for unsuspecting as-yet nonhunter?

Show up for first date with cattail boquet tied up with call lanyard, and watch for reaction?

Take out date for dinner, insist on ordering duck, and note "I know how we can get more"? :h

And now, for a serious suggestion:

Take her trap shooting with other female and male group and 20 gauge semiauto. Make it social and include lunch. Since it is midday, low romantic pressure. If she likes it, move on to skeet and league shooting. Hunting from blind in PM is next.

If she hates it, move on to another girl.

Hell, at least you can justify another 20 gauge shotgun!

Rotties are ugly and are just as well mannered as any other, I've had plenty of ladies interested in getting a closer look!;)
