With a cold blast of winter approaching my portion of Illinois, and a prediction of 40 mph winds for tomorrow, it's time for my annual reminder. Boys and girls, there ain't a duck or goose out there that's worth risking your life for.

I may not be educated but I have really good common sense and I know when to keep the boat on the trailer and head home to climb back in the sack with the little lady.
I guess some of those smart college educated guys that go out for the hero shots on those days are just a lot tougher than I am.:nutz:l:l:l

If you don't make it home to keep the little lady warm when your dead and gone someone will likely fill the hole that you left by not thinking.

    Stay safe out there men.:yes:tu:tu

Call-I got it immediately. Was just waiting around to see if anyone else was reading closely.

Kevin-It never hurts to remind people. Over here, the Miss has been in flood or just below for the last few weeks, making it even more dangerous. Last Sunday on a ride along the river, a 30' tree shot up about 6' out of the water. It had been floating along just below the surface. Running into something like that at 0-dark-30, would certainly ruin your hunt, season or life.
