Time to start adding a little water for Teal. Hopeful we get some decent rain to fill in the ditches and we will then kick on the pump to supplement as needed. No water on the ears yet as still couple months out for big duck season. 20170818_200046.jpg

Nice looking corn there. How big is your impoundment and what size pump do you use to flood it? I am expanding one of mine this spring and trying to figure out what size i should go with

We put approximately 20 acres of water on. We have an electric well/pump which has an 8" casing. Sadly I don't know how large the electric pump motor is. When we bought the farm the well and pump were already in place.

15hp is about the largest that will fit in an 8" casing
