I have tried Drake and Hardcore and I cannot find a pair of jean cut pants where the crotch is not 10 inches long! Just bought a pair of Drakes that said jean cut for 80 bucks and nope...high waisted.
These are the ones I just got https://www.drakewaterfowl.com/products/mst-jean-cut-under-wader-pant-2-0?variant=41147210256
Appreciate if anyone can suggest a pair.
    Thanks

Just wear a thin jogging pants or jeans under them if you are trying to avoid chaffing? I assume getting cold is not an issue in SE Florida?

Why does the under layer have to be waterproof ?
    You're already wearing waders :scratch
If that's your concern, then get ya some scuba bottoms.

During woody/teal season in September I tend to wear knee boots and shorts. I often get over the boots but wet feet are no big deal when its in the 70s or 80s. Get a pair of LL Bean breathable waders. Those should be lightweight enough and also dry. I like mine for walk in hunts.

Drake does make that same style in their EST line which are uninsulated and supposedly for warm weather hunting.

Get a pair of Duluth Firehose pants and then hit them with a water repellent product.
