Until today, all my hunting has been done in AR. We finally got out in AL, and all I have to show for it is...

    Duckmeister,

We're pleased that you had a good time visiting the city park this week. However, Charlie, our resident mallard/muscovy hybrid will be dearly missed by the children at the park. The work you've done for us in thinning the muscovy population throughout the park had been outstanding up to this point. But due to recent events (Charlie's untimely demise), we are going to have to remove you from your position with the City Parks and Recreation Department.

Personally, I think that you should feel ashamed for killing Charlie by calling him in with the rustling of a bread bag. I understand that eating a bologna sandwich isn't baiting, but playing with that bag gave you an unfair advantage against our poor sweet Charlie.

PS - Just because some muscovy ducks have considerable green coloration on and about their heads doesn't make them mallards.:D

    Signed,
    City Park Manager

Come on guys give me a break. I feel bad for killing the poor guy anyway. When I cut into him to breast him out the meat was all pale and not much there to boot. I think he was on his last leg (wing) anyway.

I dont feel too bad, but I do think that he probably was a wonderbread duck. It still adds to the kills. You know the hardest part was cutting the lock from the park gate entrance. I didnt know those were that hard to cut off. :)

1 Drake Mallard -- this poor boy acted lonely. no calling whatsover and he sailed right in.

My son, Austin thought this duck needed to come in the house and get a hug. :)
