10 days ago I bought a used Savage XP10 Predator and got a whale of a good deal. Functional check in store was all good. Took it home to shoot and found out the firing pin was broke. Shipped the bolt back to Savage service department (mind you, this was a USED purchase) and asked for repair, I would pay it, and then if big enough go back to the gun shop and seek a deal. No need - 8 days after mailing off, I have a package back from Savage. Complete repair, no charge. And it goes BOOM very nicely now.
