I have read on all different sites how people want the season dates run into Feb. It really wont help plus federal regs will not allow it. Who you can blame is the E.P.A. since they mandated all power plants have warm water lakes. The ducks don't have to migrate when it gets cold up north. I live in northwest Indiana and last Dec. The temps dropped to minus 10 to 15 for about three days. In the past everything would freeze and the birds would migrate south. Not any more we have a power plant by us and every Bird went it and stayed until it warmed back up. We didnt have enough snow so they had food. There are these power plant all up and down the flyways.

Congratulations...kill 'em so can stop worrying about them.

Anyone wanting a season into February is a non threat....if they can't kill them in Dec & Jan, they aren't going to pile 'em up in Feb.

I see more ducks every day over the last three weeks where there weren't any in December and January. Only difference between then and now...now there's water.
