Lake Powell

    Never hunted it but I would think it would hold a lot of ducks.
    Just remember that most if the lake is in Utah or in the Navajo Reservation

    I dont know if any of the lake is open i believe most is a national park closed to hunting.

    On a second note in know it is a large stop over for geese arriving out of the Salt Lake area before they migrate to the Scottsdale gold courses:dv

    The last time I was there we had an issue as to whether dogs were alowed in the park. Park cop said not to bring them back after this time.. I havent been back, the fish are runts anyway.

    This is prob a stupid question. I was born in Mesa and moved up to South Dakota when i was 8 i am know 31. How is the waterfowl down there and which part of state is good. What type of hunting techniques (water, crop ground) Thanks for feed back GO SUN DEVILS:flame

    The hunting here is nothing like you're used to. Imagine your worst day afield in S. Dakota , that will be your best day here unless you belong to a duck club over on the Colorado river.
