Anybody ever hunted it?
Never hunted it but I would think it would hold a lot of ducks.
Just remember that most if the lake is in Utah or in the Navajo Reservation
I dont know if any of the lake is open i believe most is a national park closed to hunting.
On a second note in know it is a large stop over for geese arriving out of the Salt Lake area before they migrate to the Scottsdale gold courses
I think somebody needs to go hunt it with me.
Here is some info on hunting there.
Have you thought about the lees ferry area. At least there you can fish too.
The last time I was there we had an issue as to whether dogs were alowed in the park. Park cop said not to bring them back after this time.. I havent been back, the fish are runts anyway.
This is prob a stupid question. I was born in Mesa and moved up to South Dakota when i was 8 i am know 31. How is the waterfowl down there and which part of state is good. What type of hunting techniques (water, crop ground) Thanks for feed back GO SUN DEVILS
The hunting here is nothing like you're used to. Imagine your worst day afield in S. Dakota , that will be your best day here unless you belong to a duck club over on the Colorado river.
