Lares problem

    I am with Trevor here. The orientation of the call SHOULD have no bearing on the function. Changing the orientation may be a work around to the issue, but it is not the resolution.

    X3. Give it a tey. I’ve owned many calls that sound different depending if the toneboard is up or down, including both my Lares calls.

    It's a thing, despite what the calling Gods think. Try the reed on the bottom, all the time. If that works then that's your issue. If not, there's a problem with the reed/wedge.
