My insert gets stuck tight on this call when ever I place it back to together. So stuck it won't come apart. What to do?

Freezer for 45 minutes , I use rubber jar openers to get a good grip

If that don’t work try longer time in freezer

Thanks auto5. I did notice it came apart in the past when I rinsed cold water under it so I figured the acrylic had expanded in my warm bedroom where it is stored. The hybrid has no problems. Off it goes to the freezer.

Send the call in and have them fix it. Shouldn't be tight.
What I've done in the pass - I'll add a little chapstick on the o-ring, some say it could eat the rubber, but Ive never had a problem.

Add plumbers lube (like a dollar at Lowes) to the o ring on the inside of the barrel sir.

Cant send it in cause I'll be using it i a couple off weeks. But I'll definitely put something on the o-ring.

100% understandable. If it gets to be a pain they’ll take care of it. Good luck this season! We’re 10 days out!

Take the O rings off, get some fine wet dry sand paper, do a few circles around the insert lightly, put O rings back on and problem is likely solved. Might have a high spot.

I like the new insert in the Micarta T-1 I picked up used. Runs a 1.37 reed. Just about have that reed dialed in. I have always run around a 1.34

Heatproof faucet grease, it comes in a small tube or small tub, cost about $6 and it will last most people a lifetime. Great to put on choke tubes as well.
