What do you think is the best way for someone to learn how to blow a duck call. Most importantly when they don't have someone there to show them and critique?

I am thinking about hunting some tanks, over an acre big. Do you think it will be worth setting up dekes and calling ducks or are tanks only good for jump shooting no matter how big? What is the best way to scout them out. If I bust birds off it when setting up, is the spot done or will they trickle back in.

Get the Buck Gardner Straight Talk CD it is a good instructional CD that covers almost everything you need to know.

IMO jump shooting tanks rarely results in birds coming back unless it happens to be GWT or buffleheads. For some reason they like to make a U-turn and get themselves killed. Mallards for sure won't be back for ages. Good luck. We are almost there gents.
