Even leasing by deer hunters us rare. It has picked up but it's nowhere near as bad as down south.
Southeastern MI is ripe with waterfowl leases. You can say whatever you want, I lived there and was invited on plenty
On LI leases are going from 2500-10,000 on the Northfork. Can only imagine what the southfork gets
I hunt Jackson, washtenaw, and Calhoun and have yet to come across a denial because it was leased. Please tell me more about your vast knowledge of my area.
If you can find one....
Southampton is a little tricky because very few available but there is a residency requirement to hunt there.
Honestly I never include Southampton with south fork because of that exact reason you mentioned. I was thinking more along the lines of Bridge and Easthampton. It's a shame how the east ends are being developed
Bridgehampton is in the town of Southampton.
I do not believe that anything east of Bridge is even leased out, there are only maybe three huntable farms in all of EH.
Ok I was never sure if Bridgehampton was in the town of Southampton. All my leases are on the Northfork
There is a road across from Poxabogue called Townline Road (Townline BBQ is on the same rd). The school districts mash up across the town lines which adds to the confusion. If you legally kill two puddle ducks east of there you should probably give up hunting as you've reach the pinnacle.
You had to mention Townline BBQ now I want a road trip there lol. My charter boat is in Montauk and I stop there sometimes for pulled pork
