Just installed a light bar on my boat, i am wanting to build some sort of protective "cage" or box around it to keep it from getting tore up. Anyone got any pictures of their current set up?

    thanks!

I don't have any pictures yet but just made something similar to this to protect mine. I found this idea on this site and used the picture from a thread. I did elevate mine 8 inches to avoid any glare, and also added tubing and d rings.

Use a RAM mount and take it off.

I welded up my own mounts that allow me to quickly put it on at the ramp and then quickly take it off when we get to where we hunt. It gets stowed away in a safe place. No worries.

I primed it with Zink-Chomate and then painted with Kem 400, the paints only a year old but so far so good!
