light bar protection ideas

    what color did you go with on the Kem 400 and what additive did you use to knock down the glossy part? Did SW mix it up for you or did you order through them? have an alum blind id like to paint

    I used the coble stone brown color, suposidly it was made for gatortrax, as far as the gloss I just asked SW to make it as flat as they could when I ordered it. You have to go to the SW chemical coating store which is kind of a pain in the *** but so far it's been worth the effort. I've got the paint can in the barn still, I can PM you the paint code if you want

    that would be awesome, whats the diff between SW and the chemical coatings?

    The normal SW just sells like house paints, the chemical coating store has industrial paints along with a bunch of other chemicals that the average home owner probably doesn't need. At least in Denver there's only one or two chemical coating stores and abunch of the "neighborhood SW" I started off at one of those and they had no clue what kem 400 was. I'll post up the paint code the next time I'm out at the barn

    I made this for a buddy.100 alum light but very tuff .
