Hi there. I am trying to find a Greenhead Gear drake cinnamon teal decoy to buy, or several if somebody doesn't want to sell just one. Does anybody have one they would be willing to part with? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Jason

Thank you both for the replies. I am located in Oregon. A nice drake cinnamon teal has been at the top of my wish list since I was a small child. Obviously they are few and far between here during season, but my hope is by having a small spread, I will up my chances somewhat. Thanks again for the replies. I really appreciate the help.

    You don't eat them anyway:cool:

I think they are awesome looking. I rarely see them so I take everyone I can..... much like drake spoons.

Thanks again everybody for the replies. I would love to make a trip down in January to try for them! I will try to put a trip together for next year. Are there as many public hunting opportunities in SoCal as there are up around the Grasslands? Or would it be more of a guided show?

I have read in a few places that they are not the best table fare, but I would still like one for the wall, knowing I probably will only shoot one in my lifetime. I guess for me it's a nostalgia things. I remember driving around southern Oregon in the spring as a child and seeing stunning drake cinnamons hanging out on small ponds and little irrigation ditches. Maybe it's just me wanting to feel that wonder again. My entire decoy spread is Avian-X and GHG, so that's why I was hoping to find a GHG decoy, but if I strike out I will definitely order a pair of the others.

Thanks again for the info everybody. This has been very helpful!
