Masters that is nice. I can see some suspending from the ceiling in the future!! True??

This is becoming a reference thread for dead mounts so let me add a terrible picture of one:

Thanks for the comments. No birds will hang from the ceiling, the rest will be on the walls, floor, shell crate, and the little bench the woodie is on. Rough dimensions are 80"Hx60"Wx28"D. It fits nicely in a corner. This is really one of those pieces you have to see in person to fully understand the size and concept.

    Some cool dead mounts...

I like the 3 bird Idea with the middle bird being the lowest... I would hang the pintail in the middle...

I guess if you're only going to do one, that's the one to do! Wow. Can't wait to see it completed. :tu

That is very, very nice indeed.:tu

    So you still need:

    • Hen greenwing teal.
    • Hen wood duck.
    • Cinnamon teal pair.
    • Bluewing pair.
    • Widgeon pair.
    • Black duck pair
    • Mottled duck pair

Sounds like you will have to do some traveling for some fun hunts to finish up? You gonna include a pair of Eurasian widgeon in there as well?

You are correct. If I get the Eurasian they will go in a glass case separate. I'm hoping to add all but the cinnamon this year.
