My brother and I are going up next week to hunt the opener on Lower Tule dry fields.
We will be in a black Tundra & a 12' Black trailer With a Large CWA sticker on the back door. We were looking to see if anyone we knew was also going up?!?!

Also has anyone seen any bird counts since it looks like they don't do fly overs any longer or at least we cant find any reports of bird counts from fly overs.

Is that the same weekend as the Oregon opener (Oct 7th) for the Klamath area? I will be going there, to meet up with buddies as I do every year.

I'd also be interested in any impressions on birds in the area.

I heard the refuge is holding 5 geese, 8 ducks, and 27 coots.

    Have fun.

We were going to go, but since I see the dad gum juniors already wacked em all and sent the birds into a late season pattern, we are bailing.
