    Just finished one of his "The High Graders" very good, love his writing. Last of the Breed was fantastic also.

    I really never read a Louis L'Amour book that I didn't like - I have read them all!!

    L'Amour makes for a great easy read... Great characters and face-paced stories that flow well... I tend to pick up his books when I am down with the flu or on a plane and want some entertainment without extending excessive brain power...

    If you enjoyed his books, you really ought to consider Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry... Don't read the rest of the series (which you will want to do after reading the first one...

    But, Lonesome Dove is and will likely remain my favorite fictional western story... The mini-series actually did the book justice, but as always the book is better...
