Anyone used one of these with any success?
purchased one last season used twice worked good my father used it once this early season and pulled birds with success but I used it a few times this season with no success so mixed results but I do like to use instead of flagging and keep the attention off of my hide the unit is very durable the only issue I see is the wings get scuffed up pretty easy from transportation.
I would save the money and look into the the JTR motion decoy...little bit more money but much more real looking action...just my 2 cents
^^^^ I just saw a DSD that Jason from JTR put wings on. Looked great.
That would be a very nice decoy to have ha
I would sell you mine for 100 plus shipping.Good unit,I just don' use mine enough.I have 2 higdon flappers and my son also has a Lucky Duck. I have all the parts and will throw in a carry bag.
No thanks, I already bought one, same deal, all the parts and nice Columbia camo carry bag for $100 locally.
I second the JTR Motion Decoy. The flapper hasn't left the garage in the last 2 seasons. Too many issues with flaring birds. That JTR is so much more effective and doesn't slide birds like the flapper. Looks pretty good up close too.
Worked good early season but flared alot of birds so we got rid of ours
Only hunt ours in the snow. This year we ran it for approaching birds but shut it off when they were finishing. I think the jury is still out on it's effectiveness.
