We got back last night from our 3rd trip to a buddy's family land in N Ok and man you guys have got some good hunting. We had our best hunt in a pond between a big roost area and a milo field. For 3 guys living on the coast, we are still learning how to hunt up there and we needed more mallard decoys and more callers, but man seeing those green heads come in cupped up is SOOOO much better than passing shooting teal in a rice field.

Hope you guys realize how good you have it vs a lot of other areas.

you got lucky all year the birds have been just north of the border in kansas. Ice brought them down for 2 days but south wind sent them right back to kansas! Fact no need to debate.

Worst season out of the last 50 with last year taking that title until this one. Something seems afoot with the eastern Oklahoma migration pattern...
