    few questions..

obviously they appear to be extremely easy to make on your own..

    is it worth it?
what do they bag liner's actually do?

has any one attempted it to save money?
the price for a roll of Tycek seams very cheap, just lots of work..

could a guy build 1000 dekes under $1000 dollars?

evan, I did this a few yrs ago made 3000 rags most r still in use just to draw birds close to our killing spead 2000 fullbodies and shells, don't use your money and time I would recommend buying econo silos r good pre built stuff . that said u can buy tyvek in bulk at a big discount if u tell them its for decoys. stakes r costly but I got mine from a former maker used at a dime each then u need zip ties glue markers[paint] and lots of timeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I was retired it was fun but u can buy at least 30 or 40 dz for that 1000 unless u hunt a permanent spread that's a real good start. evan if u do I cut the 60 inch tyvek into 30/30 and 20/20/20 and 24/18/18 giving u 4 sizes of rags the smaller ones last in better shape they don't drag the corn.surmond over

Not worth it. I bought the bags from sky fly for $1 a piece and still wouldn't do it again.

I made 400 of them, bought the bags and liners from SS. Not worth it IMO. Buy the econo socks and call it good. I had lots of labor into it and while it saved a bit of money I don't feel the product was equal. Econos come assembled now I think and with hook stakes too.

Catch Sillosock econos on sale for $26 a dozen like they were last week. You can't beat that. Making your own is fun...for the first 3 or 4 dozen, then it's just work.
