Anyone live around that area? May be relocating from IL. Just looking for some info.
Any places to avoid living? Rough areas? Is there public hunting around other than the national wildlife area? Not looking for areas simple yes or no on public hunting. I'm from Illinois so I know about people stealing spots. Damn yankees lol.
City of Cocoa is a bit rough. Best living in the communities along the coast or in new areas like Vierra.
Awesome! Thank you for the info!
How are the school systems down there?
Can't help you with the school systems but shouldn't be too hard to find out online. Plenty of places to hunt....whether or not there are ducks around is another story. There are always some birds around to shoot, it's just a matter of how many and what. This year was the worst I can remember in the 13 years I've been doing it in East Central Florida but I've had some great years in there too.
Sorry to hear that, up here in IL we froze early and most the birds passed us up and are staged south of us. So we had a crappy year also. Looks like we'll very likely be headed down there the end of March or first of April.
Thanks for the help! Have a great day!
Go to the Unitied Florida - Waterfowlers website. The link is at the top, you can look around on the public board and get the idea. For $25.00 you can become a member. Buch of good guys on there that are willing to help and answer questions. You could also go to Florida Waterfowlers forum, it's free but you may not get good info.
Awesome! Thanks for the info!
