Does anyone have an opinion on the status of the duck migration primarily in the Central part of the State. Are they gone, spread out, still up North ? New member but long time follower of this site. ( Hunt near Havana)

I have not been seeing much even on good weather for ducks type days.

Yetter flew the survey today, I will be very interested to see what he saw. We have not seen any ducks since Saturday. Been a ghost town north of Havana.

Still up north. Pools 7/8/9 still have a lot of birds.

We saw a lot of new birds Sunday and a few yesterday but I think they only replaced the birds that were previously here. Today was nothing but empty skies. I think that had more to do with the very bright moon than anything else tho.

We had a good mallard shot today even with the flat water.
I was surprised at the numbers we saw.
Some of the back waters had ice today.
I haven't hunted since Sat so I can't say if we got new birds or not.
I do know the divers are mostly gone.

From what I have seen Danny, the divers never showed up. A place I hunt south of here is usually shoot as fast as you can load at flock after flock of bluebills, but have not seen any sort of push of divers there. At all.

Same exact experience here in the NE corner of the state. Sunday was nuts. Yesterday's afternoon scouting mission was a bust.

Yep, same here. Was planning on hitting the field this afternoon with a buddy that's home from college but yesterday morning's bust and the afternoon scouting of nothing made us decide otherwise. They've been hammering the fields around us for over a week but not since Monday night's moon.

We are on a deep water lake so divers visit often. We've been scratching out Redheads, Cans, Bills and Jacks all year. Sat brought big groups but saw only a few Monday and none yesterday.
